Steve Cartwright is the driving force behind Electrobike New Zealand - a relatively new venture in battery powered electric bike transport.

It all began with MOOV’N ON Mobility, a business Steve co-owns and operates. In 2006, he became ‘accomplished distributor of the year’ for his brand of mobility scooters.

On a business trip overseas, Steve became captivated by Electric Bikes. He discovered that battery powered transportation technology was hugely popular overseas, and had become a common mode of transport. With a solid background in sales, and a new-found passion for Electric bikes, Steve saw the potential and benefits of Electric Bikes for New Zealanders.

With considerable research into the many makes of electric bikes produced, coupled with quality checks and back-up support; Steve found his preferred Electric Bike manufacturer in Currie Tech USA. He was therefore excited to discover that Currie Tech’s IZIP brand of electric bikes were available to sell in New Zealand.

Steve took the plunge, and became the official New Zealand distributor of IZIP Electric Bikes.
